Players of Level Infinite and Hotta Studio’s open-world MMORPG game Tower of Fantasy will soon have new content to experience, with the companies confirming that the game’s ‘Vera’ 2.0 Expansion Pack is due to release this Fall (or Spring for those of us in the southern hemisphere), providing access to a new desert x cyberpunk themed region(s), with new challenges, stories and characters to encounter. While more information is scheduled to be announced closer to release, you can take a sneak peek at some of what Vera 2.0 has in store, above.
Releasing a bit closer to today is Frigg, Tower of Fantasy’s next limited time Gacha character who will be available to unlock starting 1 September 2022. Lore-wise, Frigg is a quiet and decisive soldier who gets her work done cleanly and quickly. She has her own take on life, and often thinks about the meaning of it when she’s not busy eliminating her enemies. One of the Angels of Clemency, her body was largely modified with living metal to stop radiation without a suppressor. She is a loyal servant of the Sage and carries out his commands without question. As a commander, she has the right to command the Heirs of Aida’s forces, but instead chooses to act alone most of the time. You can see Frigg in action through the trailer below:
Tower of Fantasy launched on the PC, iOS and Android platforms earlier this month, and is currently undertaking a Global Launch Special Rewards Events which can net you some goodies, including dozens of free gacha pulls, an SSR Weapon/Simulacrum of your choice and more. As indicated above, the game itself is free to play and requires no purchase, however makes its money through a gacha-style ‘Special Orders’ system. While the game isn’t too bad with providing you free currency to pull N-SSR tier simulacra/weapons, the pull rates for SSR is very low at first, so keep that in mind before picking up the game to play.
