Outright Games, the family-oriented video game publisher who has been behind the likes of My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Rise of SH1FT3R and Dragons: Dawn of New Riders and developer Tessera Studios had a presence at Star Trek: Mission Chicago 2022 this weekend to unveil a new video game project based on the youth-oriented animated series Star Trek: Prodigy. This game is titled Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova – with more details slated to be shared in the coming months.
Aimed at younger Trekkies over the core fanbase, this is pitched as the “Star Trek video game aimed at younger players”. As with many games from Outright Games, I would expect Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova to be much more oriented towards the younger demographic, rather than directly appealing to mainstream gamers.
While information is limited, a selection of key artwork for the game has been shared, which you can view below.
Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova will be released at a later date on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The game is in development by Tessera Studios.
