As with many mobile games on the market, Square Enix’s War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is no stranger to crossover collaboration events, especially with the wealth of popular Final Fantasy games that characters, settings and lore can be sourced from. The latest of these events is confirmed to be around Final Fantasy VI – which from today until 26 April 2022 – will see new units, story events and more made available to players.
Some of the new goodies available to players (Mostly through the in-game gacha system) include:
Locke (UR) Unit – Locke is a mighty Light-type Ultra Rare (UR) unit, whose main job is Treasure Hunter and sub-jobs are Pugilist and Nightblade. Through his Sky Mirage Dive Limit Burst, Locke can lower a target’s slash attack Resistance and reaction ability activation rate for 3 turns, while dealing medium damage to targets within range. He can also reduce enemies’ AP by utilizing his AP Hunt skill. His Adventurer’s Wisdom skill allows him to raise the Unit Attack Resistance and Reaction Block Rate of allies within an area around himself for 3 turns.
Terra (UR) Unit – Terra is a strong Fire-type UR unit, whose main job is Magitek Elite and sub-jobs are Bladesoul and Paladin. Terra’s Crescent Riot Blade raises her own Spirit Piercing Rate for 3 turns and deals damage to targets within range based on her Magic stat. Her other skills, Meltdown and Firaga Slash, deal damage to targets within range based on her Magic stat. Meltdown has an included guaranteed hit, and Firaga Slash bestows Ice Eater while also offering a chance of inflicting Disable on enemies for 3 turns.
Celes (UR) Unit – Celes is a powerful Water-type UR unit, whose main job is Imperial Rune Knight and sub-jobs are Spellblade and Red Mage. She is capable of dealing damage to targets within range based on her Magic stat, as well as raising her own All Attack Res for 3 turns. Runic Blade bestows Shell and Runic Blade effects for 3 turns. Runic Blade’s effect negates any reflectable magic that targets allies and absorbs a portion of AP/TP consumed for 1 spell only. Additionally, Celes has Undefeated General’s Pride, which increases her own chance of being targeted, and raises Unit Attack Resistance for 3 turns.
Omen vision card – The card’s party ability bestows Man Eater and raises Spirit for Fire-type units. At the maximum level, the vision card also increases missile attack resistance of Fire-type units, which boosts the Fire Attack and Max HP of Fire-type units. Additionally, the card boosts Terra’s Magic and Agility stats.
In addition to the collaboration event, Square Enix is hosting their second anniversary celebrations for War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. This includes a special Final Fantasy Series Summons event held from 23 March to 26 April, featuring the following titles which have had a crossover event in the past: Final Fantasy I, IV, VII Remake, X and XV.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is now available as a free-to-play mobile game on iOS and Android platforms, supported by in-app transactions including the aforementioned gacha-style summon system.
