Due to the ongoing complications between Apple and Epic Games, the latest version of Fortnite has been impossible to play on iOS devices. At least, until this little loophole decided to come along this week. Fortnite will soon return to iOS devices via the Safari browser, through the GeForce Now cloud gaming subscription service. A Closed Beta test of the Fortnite on iOS and Android devices will soon go live, with interested gamers encouraged to register an expression of interest.
GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet subscribers can register for a chance to play the new touch-control version of Fortnite for mobile in the cloud!
The new touch-control version means you can jump in and start playing right away with just the screen and your fingers, no gamepad or keyboard/mouse are needed.
Sign up below to be added to the waitlist to join the closed beta. A Priority GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet subscription is not required in order to participate. Invitations to join will be limited and participation in the beta is not guaranteed.

For those on Android devices, you can look forward to the enabling of a touch-friendly version of Fortnite for mobile, delivered via the cloud. According to the team behind the Australian version of GeForce Now: “While PC games in the GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet library are best experienced on mobile with a gamepad, the introduction of touch controls built by the GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet team offers more options for players, starting with Fortnite“.
As mentioned above, you will not require a paid priority membership to be selected for the beta test.
We’re seeing a shift now in gaming to have a big focus on content the same way that other streaming platforms now compete for shows – cloud gaming is competing to have the best game libraries for players. We’re excited to see Fortnite for mobile join GeForce NOW Powered by Pentanet and will be eagerly awaiting the results of the closed beta
