Since Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, the Disgaea franchise has always received its first home video console release on PlayStation hardware – starting with the PlayStation 2 and concluding with the PlayStation 4. When it came to releasing Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny, while Japan got the game on both the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, NIS America changed their approach and made it available exclusively on the Switch when bringing it to North America and PAL regions. It appears that this arrangement could have been a 1-year timed exclusive, with the publisher this weekend confirming Disgaea 6 Complete will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC in mid-2022.
As with other Complete collections in the past, Disgaea 6 Complete will offer players the full game, along with every piece of character and cosmetic DLC released for the base game since launch, including but not limited to:
Originally Included DLC Characters: Adell (D2), Rozalin (D2), Girl Laharl (DD2), and Asagi (Almost every game).
Character Set #1: Mao (D3) and Raspberyl (D3)
Character Set #2: Valvatorez (D4) and Pleinair

Character Set #4: Killia (D5) and Usalia (D5)
