Following the game’s 2021 release on the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, SEGA has today confirmed that fighting game Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will be released on the Nintendo Switch starting 10 June 2022. While being released some time after other platforms, the Nintendo Switch version will be available both digitally via the Nintendo eShop and physically via video game retailers.
Nintendo Switch players will gain access to all the features of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles on other platforms, in addition to immediate access to all the post-launch content including 6 new playable characters – Rui, Akaza, Susamaru, Yahaba, Enmu, and Yushiro & Tamayo; new online missions that reward Kimetsu Points to unlock additional rewards; and all the balance changes made to the game’s combat.
Those who purchase the game’s physical Launch Edition at select retailers will also receive 1 Kimetsu Academy Character Unlock Key (Tanjiro Kamado) – if that is something you are interested in.

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
