Ever dreamed of making your own university? While there have been major development studios creating games for the Theme Park and Hospital genres, few have sought to tackle the education sector. Enter Two Point Studios, a company who created Two Point Hospital the faithful spiritual successor to Theme Hospital a few years back. Having tackled the healthcare system, they are now entering higher learning on 17 May 2022 with Two Point Campus.
SEGA and Two Point Studios have confirmed that Two Point Campus will be launching on 17 May 2022 on both PC and consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch) simultaneously. Pre-orders are available via each platforms respective digital distribution platform, with the exception of the Nintendo eShop, where it will be made available soon. Two Point Campus will also be available on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass on day one.
In Two Point Campus, players are invited to build the campus of their dreams, while shaping the lives of your students to give them the “adventure of a lifetime, full of meaningful relationships, fun extracurricular activities and of course…top quality education”. After all, happy students and good grades will lead to an increase in Campus prestige, which means you can enrol more students, and coincidentally, make more money…
Rather than the typical academic fare, students in Two Point County enjoy plenty of weird and wonderful courses, such as Gastronomy, where they will learn how to make oversized culinary delights. The more technologically minded students can take up Robotics classes, where science, teachers and students come together to build giant robots. Each student has their own unique character traits, so you’ll need to make sure to cater to all their unique needs to develop them into well-rounded individuals who will do the legacy of your university proud. What? Did you expect a game set in the same universe as Two Point Hospital to have only normal subjects.
