Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade’s PlayStation Exclusivity Ends, Heads to PC This Week

Following almost two years of exclusivity on the PlayStation 4 and later the PlayStation 5, Final Fantasy VII Remake is headed to other platforms. As of writing we only have confirmation of a planned PC release on 16 December 2021, being exclusively published via the Epic Game Store. The contents of the PC version match that of this year’s release of the Intergrade edition, albeit having the new adventure FF7R EPISODE INTERmission included with it rather than a separate purchase.

The PC version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade also comes with a handful of other Intergrade bonuses, all available at launch through the gift box on the main menu, including:

  • The FF7R EPISODE INTERmission-exclusive weapon, Cacstar
  • Armor: Midgar Bangle, Shinra Bangle and Corneo Armlet
  • Accessories: Superstar Belt, Mako Crystal and Seraphic Earrings
  • Summon materia: Carbuncle, Chocobo Chick and Cactuar

The PC release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade also features 4K support, HDR support, XInput and DirectInput compliant controller support, keyboard and mouse support. The highest-spec gaming PCs may even see frame rates of up to 120fps.

In FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE on PC, players will follow the story of ex-SOLDIER operative turned mercenary Cloud Strife, who descends on the mako-powered city of Midgar as he lends his aid to an underground resistance group calling themselves Avalanche in their fight against Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation. FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE also includes an exhilarating new story arc, FF7R EPISODE INTERmission, which brings ninja Yuffie Kisaragi to the forefront as she infiltrates the city of Midgar during the events of the base game.
