Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and who own PlayStation 5 consoles have a lot to cheer about over the coming years, with Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Insomniac Games confirming that development is underway on both Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Marvel’s Wolverine.
Marvel’s Spider-man 2 had its first major trailer shared during the most recent PlayStation Showcase, and will see the journey of Peter Parker and Miles Morales continue on the PlayStation 5 sometime in 2023. The gameplay trailer (below) provides a glimpse at what’s in store in terms of the new abilities our heroes will acquire, suits they will wear and the villains that will try to hunt them down.
Marvel’s Wolverine on the other hand is being developed as a standalone game, with no release date confirmed at this time. The project is being directed by Brian Horton (creative director) and Cameron Christian (game director), who recently led the creative efforts on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. You can see the teaser trailer for the game below, but expect to see more in the coming months.
