Upupupu! A new despair-worthy event is heading to the iOS and Android next week, with Spike Chunsoft set to publish Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony on the App Store and Google Play storefront on 26 May 2021. This is (as of writing) the latest Danganronpa video game released in the series, first published for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in August 2017 before being brought across to the PC. The scheduled release also follows smartphone-exclusive “Anniversary Editions” of Trigger Happy Havoc and Goodbye Despair.
Separate to the original Danganronpa chronology, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony follows a new cast of 16 characters find themselves kidnapped and imprisoned in a school. Inside, some will kill, some will die, and some will be punished. Reimagine what you thought high-stakes, fast-paced investigation was as you investigate twisted murder cases and condemn your new friends to death… or die if you fail to.
The mobile version of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony features the full original game, in addition to new touchscreen controls, a UI to take advantage of such controls, and a gallery feature which allows you to view event illustrations, scenes, and listen to voiced dialogue.
