They have today confirmed that all existing owners of The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope will be eligible to receive a free Friend’s Pass for the game. This will allow the user to experience one full playthrough of the game via Multiplayer Shared Story mode, along with the friend who gave them the code. This pass offer applies for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC versions of the game – with both players required to play on the same platform.
Little Hope is the second instalment of The Dark Pictures Anthology, a series of stand-alone, cinematic survival/horror games, designed to present a new terrifying experience on a regular basis. This second chapter follows the story of four college students and their teacher, who become stranded in an isolated town far apart from anywhere. With a mysterious fog beginning to set in, they are left searching desperately for a means of escape… while being haunted by visions from their past.
In addition of the Friends Past, a Curator’s Cut update will be making its way to all players soon. This sets out to grant players “a fresh perspective with new and exclusive scenes following their initial playthrough”.
