Neptunia Virtual Stars Receives March 2021 Launch Window

The latest spin-off game in the long-running Hyperdimension Neptunia video game franchise sees the Gamindustri Goddesses unite with the currently popular V-Tuber craze. Will Neptune, Blanc, Vert, Noire and the V-Idols save Planet Emote from the Antis, and rescue to Vtubers? Your quest will determine their fate!

Developed by Compile Heart and published by Idea Factory International – the music-based hack ‘n’ slash game Neptunia Virtual Stars is due to hit store shelves for the PlayStation 4 digitally and physically from 2 March 2021 (North America) and 5 March 2021 (Europe). A few weeks later, a digital-exclusive release for the PC via Steam will go live on 29 March 2021 in all supported territories.

Idea Factory International has also confirmed, moving from tradition, that both PlayStation 4 and Steam versions of Neptunia Virtual Stars will only offer the game’s original Japanese audio with English subtitles. The Steam version will also offer Japanese and Traditional Chinese subtitles. Whether this is purely due to the COVID-19 pandemic or an ongoing change is yet to be determined.
