Released internationally last month, SINoALICE is a dark fantasy RPG for smartphones featuring the work of Japanese video game director Yoko Taro, composer Okabe Keiichi and the development team at Pokelabo. It is a well-themed game, and especially those who are looking for something with a macabre, gothic, fairy-tale theme; it may be the game for you.
While we still have some ways to catch up with the original Japanese release in terms of content, we have already received a collaboration event aligned with one of Yoko Taro’s arguably most iconic games to date – Nier: Automata. And it appears we might not be waiting too much longer for another.
It was today confirmed that the next Japanese SINoALICE collaboration event with be with next anime season’s reboot of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (ひぐらしのなく頃に), also known as Higurashi: When They Cry in the west. The official announcement is below, along with a comment made by Higurashi creator 07th Expansion. More information is due at a later date.
略して「ひぐアリス」だと思いましたが、コラボさせて頂くから、シノアリスさんが前で…「シノぐらし」ですかね? でもこれだと何の作品か全く伝わらないです…!
