Providing their first post-launch downloadable content since releasing Kingdom Hearts III on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One almost a year ago, Square Enix has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind is now available for purchase via digital download. This is a timed-exclusive for the PlayStation 4, with Xbox One players needing to wait until 25 February 2020 to dive into this content.

Re Mind takes place following the events of Kingdom Hearts III. Players will journey through a new episode with Sora as he experiences battles through the perspective of his friends/allies, and uncovers new truths along the way. Many new foes stand in their way, with 13 boss battles promoted in the “Limitcut” episode and a bonus boss battle in the “Secret Episode”.

Furthermore, there is a new ‘Data Greeting’ mode which allows you to take custom photos (Potentially something for Take That (In-Game) Snap to cover) using characters from the game, environments and more. There is also a Premium Menu mode which gives you greater control over difficulty settings and gameplay challenges, for those who are confident in their abilities.

This release coincides with a new patch available to all players. This patch brings an update to the main story, additional abilities, two new keyblades (Oathkeeper and Oblivion) and expanded sharing features.

You can download Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind now from the PlayStation Store as one of two different sets – the base DLC or the DLC + Concert Video Package. The latter features footage from the Kingdom Hearts – World of Tres – Orchestra concert recorded in Osaka, Japan on 30th November 2019
