Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remastered Now Available on PC

Following their re-release on the PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita these past couple of years, Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 have finally lost their PlayStation console exclusivity. As part of the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remastered collection, these two PlayStation 2 classics are now available for purchase on the PC via Steam.

Available for $29.99 USD (Although with a 20% launch discount until May 19th), this collection features high-definition visuals, an (alternate) rearranged soundtrack for FFX, new features introduced in the Japan-exclusive “International” edition of Final Fantasy X-2 and more. The PC version also comes with a few additional features, which tend to come with PC ports of older Final Fantasy games. This includes an auto-save function, game booster features (Inc. High Speed and No Encounter modes) and support for Steam Trading Cards / Achievements.

Final Fantasy X follows the story of Tidus, a star blitzball player whose fate intertwines with Yuna, a beautiful summoner, as they embark on a pilgrimage to save the world of Spira from the endless cycle of destruction brought on by the mysterious being known as Sin. Taking place two years after the events of Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2 follows the stories of Yuna, Rikku and Paine during their adventures as sphere hunters after the long-awaited Eternal Calm.
