The contemporary circus production Cirque Nouvelle is scheduled to return to Queensland this June for a limited run of performances during the school holiday period. The show features an ensemble of acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, and balancing artists who combine physical movement with theatrical storytelling and modern stagecraft.
The narrative of the production centers around a charismatic and quirky ringmaster who is navigating the universal theme of change. Through this central character, the performance explores how the circus medium has evolved over time, transitioning from the traditional traditions of the Big Top to modern, technology-driven spectacles. The production is designed to appeal to family audiences of all ages.
The Queensland season will consist of two stops. The first performance will take place in Brisbane at the Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 26 June 2026 at 6pm. The second performance will follow on the Gold Coast at The Star Theatre on Saturday 27 June 2026 at 6pm.
