The producers have shared a rehearsal room sneak peek and first look at the Australian cast of Back to the Future: The Musical, ahead of the show welcoming audiences for the first time on Australian soil from Friday 26 September at the Sydney Lyric Theatre.
From the creators of the original film trilogy, the Olivier Award winner for Best New Musical is set to begin its local run with a focus on big set pieces, humour and a crowd friendly time travel story.
The Australian company is led by Tony Award winner Roger Bart as Doc Brown, with newcomer Axel Duffy stepping in as Marty McFly. Ashleigh Rubenach will play Lorraine Baines, Ethan Jones takes on George McFly, Javon King appears as both Goldie Wilson and Marvin Berry, and Thomas McGuane features as Biff.
