The new Australian production of Annie has officially opened at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre, and final performances have now been added to the schedule. The musical will continue its run until 8 November, with pre-sale access for the newly released performances starting tomorrow – 14 July, and general public sales beginning Friday, 18 July.
This production features Anthony Warlow in the role of Oliver “Daddy” Warbucks, joined by Debora Krizak as Miss Hannigan. Mackenzie Dunn appears as Lily St. Regis, Keanu Gonzalez as “Rooster” Hannigan, and Amanda Lea LaVergne as Grace Farrell. Greg Page, known as the original Yellow Wiggle, makes his musical theatre debut as President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The character of Annie is shared between Dakota Chanel, Isabella Hayden, and Lilleth McIntosh. Other young performers rotate through the roles of the orphans, including Mila Hourmouzis, Natasha Kirkham, Harper Pasco, Elliana Anastasi, Zoe Desmier, Sophie Isaac, Mia Calabrese, Marli Lee, Quinn Manton, Nevaeh Bangit, Ava Kroussoratis, Stella Partridge, Lola Duffie, Grace McConnell, Calliope Xintavelonis, Bibiana Brudan, Savannah Callus, Lila Colombi, Sofia Arnup, Leah Cooper, Eliana Livoti, and Willow Skidmore.
The adult ensemble cast includes Luke Alleva, Cameron Boxall, Tim Brown, Emily Casey, Nakita Clarke, Andrew Dunne, Sebastian Johnston, Anna Mallows, Chloë Marshall, Kristina McNamara, Tom New, Ryan Orphel, Madeline Pratt, Lisa Sontag, Suzanne Steele, and Dean Vince.
