While you may not always expect to see musical theatre featured prominently at Oz Comic-Con among the many, many, MANY franchises and genres of entertainment represented by the major convention which tours across Australia each year, with its links as a pop culture cult classic, it has been confirmed by Oz Comic-Con and Michael Cassel Group that Beetlejuice the Musical will be present during this year’s Melbourne festivities, taking place this weekend.
Stars Eddie Perfect (Beetlejuice & the musical’s songwriter), Karis Oka (Lydia Deetz) and Elise McCann (Barbara Maitland) are set to take to the Main Stage for a Q&A Panel on 8 June 2025. Additionally, Eddie Perfect and Connie Dyson (Associate Makeup Designer & Head of Wigs & Makeup) will go live from the TikTok Live Stage to present a workshop focusing on crafting Beetlejuice’s signature look – maybe inspiring more Juices to be on the loose at future Comic-Cons.
