MM Creative Productions and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra have announced the return of Disney in Concert to the Sydney Opera House from Thursday, 13 March until Saturday, 15 March 2025. This musical event will feature the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jessica Gethin, along with a cast of musical theatre performers and the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs. The event follows the success of last year’s sold-out Disney 100: The Concert at the same venue.
Following last year’s sold-out Disney 100: The Concert, this 2025 season marks Jessica Gethin’s third time conducting Disney in Concert in Australia. Gethin will lead around 65 musicians from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs. The program will include songs from Disney films such as Aladdin, Moana, The Little Mermaid, Frozen, The Lion King, and Mulan, along with a special symphonic suite featuring music from Cinderella, Pinocchio, Fantasia, Peter Pan, and others.
