Penn & Teller to Launch 50th Anniversary Tour in Australia

Date:

From performing magical feats of their own, taking down Bullshit and asking others to fool them with their own ingenious tricks — magicians Penn and Teller have been working together for 50 years. The pair has announced they will be commencing their 50th Anniversary world tour in Australia, with three confirmed week long stops: the Sydney Opera House from 11-18 January 2025, Arts Centre Melbourne from 21-26 January 2025 and the Queensland Performing Arts Centre from 29 January – 7 February 2025.

Penn & Teller, who began performing together in the late 1970s, have redefined the genre of magic and established themselves as iconic figures. The anniversary tour will showcase their incredible new tricks, highlighting the profound impact they have had on modern stage theatrics and magic all these decades.

The duo, known for their unique approach to magic, have continually defied expectations and crafted clever illusions that captivate audiences. With the longest-running headline act in Las Vegas and appearances on shows such as Penn & Teller: Fool Us, The Simpsons, Friends, and The West Wing, they have entertained global audiences for generations with their blend of magic and comedy.

Our 50th year of magic will begin in Australia. We had such a blast performing in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane last time, we just had to start the second half of our century Down Under.
