“No one mourns the wicked” as the opening number puts it, but you may very well be mourning if you forget that the Sydney season of Wicked the Musical is set to cease in just four weeks time – on 4 February 2024. Of course, the Melbournians will be rejoicifying as the musical’s 2023-2024 Australian tour will fly from the Sydney Lyric Theatre to the Regent Theatre for its next leg.
