Starting 25 August 2023, all performances of WICKED at the Sydney Lyric Theatre will have a limited number of $45 tickets available through a ‘Wicked Wednesday’ digital lottery campaign between show’s Australian producers and TodayTix.
Entries for the digital Lottery for the first week of performances are now open, and will close at 1.00pm AEST on Wednesday 16 August. Successful entrants will have the chance to purchase up to two tickets to WICKED at $45.00. The same process for subsequent weeks will follow the same format, opening at 12.01am AEST on the Thursday morning and closing Wednesday at 1.00pm AEST the subsequent Wednesday for the week ahead. Winners will be notified via email, SMS and push notification, and will have one hour to claim and pay for their tickets through the TodayTix app before they are offered to another entrant.
Going to the theatre is not a cheap experience, especially nowadays when a decent seat can set you back well over $100.00 for most productions. However if lady luck shines upon you, and you aren’t too particular about when you want to see WICKED, this may be a good opportunity for those residing in Sydney to see the production without breaking the bank.
