Disney 100 The Concert – Cast Announcements Made for Sydney, Gold Coast and Perth Performances

As part of broader Disney 100 celebrations taking place around the world to mark the media powerhouse’s centenary year, MM Creative Productions is hosting a series of concerts at Sydney’s Opera House, Gold Coast’s HOTA, and Perth’s Riverside Theatre in March-April 2023. However, with the opening night drawing closer, there was a question around whom would be performing at each concert?

Joining MM Creative Productions co-founders Amy Manford and Genevieve McCarthy on stage, to perform many iconic Disney songs, will be a range of Australian theatre stars. These include vocalist Chloe Zuel (Eliza in Hamilton), Ainsley Melham (Aladdin the Musical – Australia and Broadway), Lyndon Watts (Hamilton), Andy Cook (Upcoming Australian tour of Beauty and the Beast), Drew Weston (Cruel Intentions) and Mark Hill (West Side Story). The cast members will vary slightly from region to region, the breakdown as follows:

Sydney: Chloe Zuel, Amy Manford, Genevieve McCarthy, Ainsley Melham, Lyndon Watts, Mark Hill
Gold Coast: Chloe Zuel, Amy Manford, Genevieve McCarthy, Drew Weston, Lyndon Watts, Andy Cook
Perth: Chloe Zuel, Amy Manford, Genevieve McCarthy, Drew Weston, Andy Cook

In addition to variations in performers for each state, musical accompaniment will also differ region-to-region, with Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Queensland Pops Orchestra, and the Perth Symphony Orchestra

A selection of songs from a range of Disney animated classics will be performed, including those from Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, The Lion King, Moana, Frozen, Encanto and more, complemented by original Disney animated footage projected live on a big screen.

While tickets have sold out for all four Sydney Opera House performances, tickets are available for the HOTA and Riverside Theatre performances.
