Launching next month at the newly opened Princess Theatre in Woolloongabba, the creative team behind the likes of MATADOR and MANSION return to present a new “burlesque, dance & contemporary storytelling” titled ORACLE, which sets out to take attendees on a mythical journey through the stars through these forms of performing arts. The season will run at the Princess Season for a strict, four-day period, from 13 January 2022 until 16 January 2022.
There will be a 7.00pm performance on each of the four nights, with an additional Matinee on Sunday 16 January. Tickets are priced from $86.00 (in addition to the standard box office booking fee), and can be purchased online via the Princess Theatre’s website.
It is nothing short of a miracle that we have reached this point. This show was set to be performed in July/August 2020 but we had to cancel due to the pandemic. We had to recast and re-audition and find a new venue. And then cancel & postpone auditions due to lockdowns – it has been quite the journey. Now we have a stunning cast of 18 performers from all around Australia, performing tales of zodiac mythology that have inspired me from a young age.
