Hamilton Returns to Sydney Lyric Theatre in Four Weeks

With approximately 1,000 cases of COVID-19 in New South Wales a day, it does feel a little bit weird to see the state moving forward with major theatrical productions. But nipping on the heels of Come From Away only a couple of days ago, the producers of Hamilton the Musical’s Australian tour has confirmed that performances will recommence at the Sydney Lyric Theatre from Tuesday 19 October 2021. This is, of course, always subject to change based on the latest health advice around the pandemic.

With this announcement also comes a confirmation that Hamilton the Musical will have its final curtain call in Sydney on 27 February 2022. Tickets will go on-sale to the general public for the remaining performances on 1 October 2021, with pre-sales to take place before that date.

We are overjoyed to welcome this incredible production back and continue telling this story. Thank you to all of you for your hard work and dedication in doing the right thing. We got here together, and can’t wait to welcome you back to the The Room Where it Happens!

As with Come From Away, the producers and venue will be implementing certain requirements on everyone attending the performance:

1/ Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or valid written medical exemption is required to enter the venue for all patrons 16+. Children under the age of 16 are welcome to attend and do not require vaccination, however must be accompanied by an adult.

2/ Performances will be playing to 75% audience capacity from 18 October until further advice from the NSW Government.

3/ Any ticketholders affected by the reduced capacity limits will be contacted directly by Ticketmaster Australia.

4/ This is in addition to other COVID-Safety requirements available to view HERE.

If you have been putting off getting your jab, now is the time to roll up your sleeve, get both of your jabs in the coming weeks, and then get to enjoy this little bit of fancy luxury.
