Australian producer Michael Cassel Group has announced that performances of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will resume in Melbourne’s Princess Theatre from 25 February 2021 – just shy of one year since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the venue to shutter its doors.

It is very unlikely that it would be easy to get tickets to early performances, given both the demand and rescheduled performances for 2020 season ticket holders. But those interested in seeing the show (and you definitely should – it’s AMAZING!) should definitely keep an eye out for availability later in the year.

The producers together with Ticketmaster are offering Harry Potter and the Cursed Child themed gift cards, allowing you to set an amount, and giving your friends/family the opportunity to choose their own preferred seats and time. More information on these can be found by clicking HERE. You can even download one of five gift certificate letters to go with the gift card, four of which are themed around the Hogwarts houses.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all Victorians and the State Government for their commitment during these extraordinary times, and for allowing us to safely return. We are thrilled to congratulate Melbourne as the first city in the world to re-open Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and extend a special thank you to our loyal audiences who have stuck with us. On behalf of everyone in the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child company, we can’t wait to welcome you back.

Producers Sonia Friedman, Colin Callender, and Michael Cassel
