We are at the time of year once again where we can sit back, relax and enjoy the company of friends (online or in-person), family or even just some quality alone time. 2021 has proven to be another year of trials, tribulations and challenges – from the continued prominence of COVID-19 worldwide to challenges facing multiple industries to just the individual, personal matters that impact each of us. But at the same time, I hope that this year has been full of many happy moments, from new opportunities and personal successes – to something as simple as getting to sit down and play a video game you have been waiting for the longest time.
Thank you to everyone who has joined me on The Otaku’s Study during the site’s 15th Anniversary year. As I have pivoted towards working full-time in my day-to-day job working with data, it has meant the site has had to go down new directions to make better use of my limited resources. But as things get to a better routine (and I reduce the amount of time I spend living in Excel Spreadsheet hell), I strive to make 2022 a year of more successes and a greater focus on The Otaku’s Study.
To you and everyone you love, have a very Merry Christmas!
Sam
