Full Soundtrack Unveiled for Life is Strange: True Colors

Only a few days out from the game’s 10 September 2021 release, Square Enix and developer Deck Nine Games have unveiled the full licensed music tracklist for both Life is Strange: True Colors and its Wavelengths DLC.

The soundtrack will feature licensed music from a range of performers including Dilo, Koda, Phoebe Bridgers, Michael Kiwanuka, Girl in Red and more. Also on offer is a number of original tracks from Angus & Julia Stone, mxmtoon, and Novo Amor. The full soundtrack can be enjoyed right now on Spotify.

Music has always been a core part of Life is Strange. The emotions and feelings that music can elicit are such an incredible tool in a game that is all about exploring empathy.

For Life is Strange: True Colors, we wanted players to experience the peaks and valleys of Alex’s journey visually, emotionally, and auditorily. We are delighted to be able to feature such a diverse roster of truly inspiring musical talent.

Jon Zimmerman – Narrative Director, Deck Nine Games

With music being so important to Life is Strange, as music supervisors for the franchise we’ve continually tried to raise the bar. Life is Strange: True Colors is the most ambitious project to date with more licensed tracks than ever and exclusive new music from 3 major artists. A lot of passion has gone into making it all happen over the last few years, so it’s great to finally be able share it with everyone.

Ben Sumner – Music Supervisor, Feel For Music

Life is Strange: True Colors will be releasing on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Google Stadia from this Friday. A Nintendo Switch version is expect to launch later in 2021.
