When Danganronpa Decadence is released for the Nintendo Switch later this year, fans (or potential fans) of the murder-mystery visual novel series have the option of spending a little bit more to purchase a Collector’s Edition. One of the special inclusions in this edition is Danganronpa Decadence Remix, a remixed soundtrack based on 10 songs across the three main games. Spike Chunsoft claim that music director Masafumi Takada “poured his heart and soul into this”.
Whether you are just looking to enjoy a few samples of the soundtrack or are looking for something to justify your purchase, Spike Chunsoft has released a soundtrack sampler video featuring snippets from all the tracks. The songs include:
- DANGANRONPA ANNIVERSARY GIG
- Argument (Turn up the Heat) Heartbeats Mix
- Argument (Cross Sword) Extended Mix
- New World Order in the Dark Mix
- Miss. Monomi’s Practice Lesson Trap Mix
- BOX 16 Anniversary Gig
- Let’s Start the Killing Game VIP Remix
- Kill Command Anniversary Gig
- Debate Scrum Mashup
- Beautiful Lie Requiem
According to Spike Chunsoft, there are no plans to offer this soundtrack outside of the Danganronpa Decadence Collector’s Edition.
Containing the three mainline games in the series (Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition) in addition to a brand new broadgame-style spinoff game titled Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp – Danganronpa Decadence will be released on the Nintendo Switch from 3 December 2021. The game will be available both as a complete set of titles, and via the Nintendo eShop, separate titles as well.
