TokyoPop has confirmed they will be offering a pair of new releases around the same boys love multimedia franchise, confirming their acquisition of the manga and light novel of My Beautiful Man. Telling the unlikely relationship between a social outcast and the most popular boy at school, this boy-meets-boy romance is written by Yuu Nagira.
My Beautiful Man was adapted into a live action television series in Japan, which ran for two seasons, featuring the talents of Riku Hagiwara as Kazunari Hira, and Yusei Yagi in the role of Sou Kiyoi. The live action adaptation only concluded last year with a feature film.
Both the manga and light novel versions of My Beautiful Man are scheduled to have their first volumes released both in-print and digitally starting 16 July 2024. Subsequent volumes will follow, although it is unknown if these, like their first volumes, will be released simultaneously.

Kazunari Hira is not what you’d call popular. In fact, he’s basically on the lowest rung of the social ladder, due largely to his stutter that tends to flare up when he’s anxious. When Hira is made the popular group’s gofer, he realizes that he doesn’t mind his lowly position so much when the orders are coming from Kiyoi’s lips. In fact, Hira treasures every order Kiyoi gives him and every bit of change he’s handed to run errands. Could he actually be… in love?
