In addition to their recently announced trove of manga, light novel and guidebook acquisitions, North American publisher Yen Press has announced their Yen Audio line-up will be receiving a new addition later this year. The science fiction light novel series 86—EIGHTY-SIX, written by Asato Asato – will receive an audiobook edition in July 2022.
86 – EIGHTY SIX won the Grand Prize at the 23rd Dengeki Novel Prize awards in 2016 and has been published by Yen On since March 2019. An anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures, also began airing in Japan last year. According to Yen Press, , the audiobook adaptation will give “fans a new and engaging way to experience this epic tale of warfare and strife”.
