In attendance at Anime Expo 2023 over the weekend, publisher Sekai Project announced a range of new projects they have in the works, including an original comic series, three new game / visual novel licenses, plush toys and more. Sena Quest!
As a part of Sekai Project’s 10th Anniversary, Sena Quest! is a 4-Panel comic series featuring Sekai Project mascot, Sena and a cast of original characters. Artwork is by Japanese illustrator, Tsukigami Luna.
On the day of Sekai Project’s 10th anniversary, the boss announces to everyone that the company is going under. Caught by surprise, Aozora Sena must gather allies such as the marriage-obsessed Setsuna, the proud Kai, and the mysterious, silver-haired Ruriko. Will the four of them be up to the task to build Sekai Project back to its former glory?

LOOP LOOP ROOM on PC
From the creative mind of desunoya comes a new release with a seemingly simple premise. This is a simple puzzle platformer game filled with a variety of gimmicks. There is no story!
Do your best and gobble up the stars in each stage Scrolling loops and occasionally rotating screens. As a squishy slime, do your best to challenge these stages.
Promoted features of LOOP LOOP ROOM include:
- The main character is a slime! You can split in two to activate switches and turn off dangerous traps
- A mysterious space where switches activate loops and scrolling loops. Use loops to access out of reach things!
- Screen rotates 90 degrees and even 180 degrees at times
- A ton of stages! Over 100 of them! Maybe more!
- From familiar springs, spikes, conveyor belts to warps, doors, color switches… even a slime doppelganger? These are the kind of gimmicks and tricks you will have to deal with! Use all sorts of strategies to get through these stages!
LOOP LOOP ROOM is planned for release on Steam starting 31 July 2023.
Collaboration with Makeship – NEKOPARA Plushies of Chocola and Vanilla
Being one of Sekai Project’s most recognisable licenses, it should come as no surprise that in announcing a partnership with Makeship, their first production would be Chocola and Vanilla from NEKO WORKs’s visual novel series, Nekopara.
The Makeship campaigns for both the Chocola and Vanilla plushes have both commenced, and are now available to support from $29.99.
NEKO-NIN exHeart for Nintendo Switch
The ninja cat girls Yura and Tama are ready to make their way to the Nintendo Switch in NEKO-NIN exHeart by developer, Whirlpool.
Japan. From time immemorial, there are those who possess superhuman abilities. These beings who looked like a cross between man and beast are called Demi-Humans. They acted as Ninja and served those in power.
And so time passes to present day——
“We have come from the Fuuma Village to fulfill an ancient contract. To serve you! Nin”
Yura and Tama. These ninja cats made their dynamic entrance.
These cats approached our hero with their loving aura in full bloom.
Their adorability and will causes our hero to be taken by them.
But how will he support them? How on earth do you use ninja in this day and age?
As he ponders this question, the sense of being a master begins to sprout in our hero when he interacts with these lovely cats.
But who is spying on them from the shadows…?
A heartfelt tale of cat ninjas who won’t shut up about loyalty. With a bit of action thrown in the mix.

Nin nin! The next chapter in the NEKO-NIN exHeart series has arrived in NEKO-NIN exHeart SPIN!
Our hero, Makibishi Kikumaru lives a rather normal life working in the company run by his family. However his grandfather’s sudden death causes a major shift in his daily life.
Suddenly a machine gun firing catgirl appears at his grandfather’s funeral while his little sister is suddenly able to transform in to a tanuki-eared ninja. Things get even stranger when a mysterious and beautiful catgirl named Touka appears before Makibishi.
“My name is Touka. I am here to protect you, Lord Makibishi, no… Lord Saiga Kikumaru.”
These are the words that Touka speaks to a bewildered Kikumaru.
