UDON Entertainment has announced the return of a more niche Capcom property, Rival Schools. The artbook, comic and manga publisher Udon Entertainment has today confirmed they will be offering Rival Schools: Official Complete Works, a comprehensive art collection celebrating the Rival Schools series. This 192-page hardcover art book will be available in stores from April 2025.
Rival Schools: Official Complete Works will feature a wide range of artwork from the Rival Schools franchise, including key art, character illustrations, development sketches, unused character concepts, and detailed character profiles. The book will also include a history of the game, written by Richard Parliament, offering fans an in-depth look into the development of the series.
In addition to the standard edition, which features a cover by artist Edayan, there will be an exclusive edition available via UDONstore.com. The exclusive edition will feature a different cover, designed by Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz, though the interior content will be the same across both versions.
The hardcover art book will be released on 29 April 2025, and is priced at $49.99. Both editions measure 8.25 by 11.25 inches and will contain full-colour artwork across its 192 pages. Scroll down to see a few preview pages from the book:
Additionally, UDON Entertainment will offer a Rival Schools: Official Complete Works Deluxe Edition Set. This special edition includes not only the hardcover art book with exclusive wraparound cover art by Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz but also a second hardcover book, Rival Schools: Official Sketch Archive, which will not be available in stores. Fans will also receive exclusive collectibles, including a limited edition “Daigo” metal card illustrated by Panzer, 26 full-colour trading cards featuring the entire Rival Schools cast illustrated by Omar Dogan, and a double-sided poster with artwork by Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz on one side and Capcom artist Edayan on the other.
