Although the service just came out of a prolonged Request Fee Free period, the team behind Skeb is celebrating 500,000 requests being sent via their service by offering the same benefits, albeit for a substantially shorter period. Starting at 0:00 JST on 21 October and running until 23:59 JST on 24 October, requests can be sent through without any request fees being required to be paid by the artist.
While this means no change for clients, for the artists and other creatives on the service, it meant that they would receive the full cut of money earned from requests they take via the service. Therefore, theoretically, they would be more interested in accepting proposals for a slightly lower fee or be keener on opening/accepting commissions in general.
