The upcoming anime adaptation of Yoneori’s light novel series, The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Road Trip in Another World, will debut on the streaming service HIDIVE in July 2026. HIDIVE will be the exclusive platform to watch the series as part of its summer simulcast lineup across multiple international regions, including Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. The Forsaken Saintess and Her Foodie Road Trip in Another World centers on Rin Takanashi, a caregiver in her late twenties who is summoned to an alternate world as a saint, only to find herself abandoned. Utilizing her specialized abilities, which include “Survival” and a motor home named Mochan, she decides to explore the unfamiliar environment while focusing on her interests in outdoor camping and cooking alongside the companions she meets along the way.
The animation is produced by studio EMT Squared in association with Ankichi Kobo, under the direction of Atsushi Nigorikawa. The production features series composition by Takashi Aoshima, while Akane Nitou and Izumi Ishii are handling the character designs. For the voice cast, Sora Tokui will voice the protagonist Rin, and Yuki On will portray the character Ville.
