TOKYOPOP to Release The Art of Amphibia Later this Month

Publisher TOKYOPOP has announced the upcoming release of The Art of Amphibia, a hardcover art book that provides an in-depth exploration of the Disney animated series Amphibia. Set to release on 25 March 2025, this collection offers fans a detailed look at the show’s creative process, featuring never-before-seen character designs, location concepts, and production artwork, along with insights from series creator and executive producer Matt Braly. The book also includes a foreword by Anne Boonchuy’s voice actor, Brenda Song.

Amphibia follows the adventures of Anne Boonchuy, an independent and fearless teenager who, along with her friends, is magically transported to a strange world inhabited by frog-like creatures. Teaming up with the excitable Sprig Plantar and his family, Anne navigates this new world while uncovering its secrets. The series is available for streaming on Disney+.

Reflecting on the impending release, Braly shared his enthusiasm for the project:

The creation and success of Amphibia has been an amazing journey, and I am very proud to work with TOKYOPOP on the release of this art book. The Art of Amphibia is the most detailed exploration of the series, its characters, and settings, and I invite fans of the show to dive into the adventurous and relatable characters and the imaginative worlds that are thoughtfully depicted in this new release.

The Art of Amphibia is now available for pre-order, with a retail price of $49.99 USD. A few preview pages can be found below:
