Publisher TOKYOPOP has announced the upcoming release of The Art of Amphibia, a hardcover art book that provides an in-depth exploration of the Disney animated series Amphibia. Set to release on 25 March 2025, this collection offers fans a detailed look at the show’s creative process, featuring never-before-seen character designs, location concepts, and production artwork, along with insights from series creator and executive producer Matt Braly. The book also includes a foreword by Anne Boonchuy’s voice actor, Brenda Song.
Amphibia follows the adventures of Anne Boonchuy, an independent and fearless teenager who, along with her friends, is magically transported to a strange world inhabited by frog-like creatures. Reflecting on the impending release, Braly shared his enthusiasm for the project:
The creation and success of Amphibia has been an amazing journey, and I am very proud to work with TOKYOPOP on the release of this art book. The Art of Amphibia is the most detailed exploration of the series, its characters, and settings, and I invite fans of the show to dive into the adventurous and relatable characters and the imaginative worlds that are thoughtfully depicted in this new release.
