Pony Canyon has revealed that Sound! Euphonium: The Final Movie is set for release in 2026. The announcement was made during the Sound! Euphonium 10th Anniversary Event in Yokohama, Japan, where a commemorative trailer and teaser visual were unveiled.
Produced by Kyoto Animation, Sound! Euphonium is a well-regarded anime series that follows the Kitauji High School concert band as they strive for success in national competitions. Since its debut in April 2015, the series has spanned three seasons and five films, including theatrical releases, special editions, and spin-offs.
The newly released trailer reflects on the past decade of the series in chronological order, while the teaser visual showcases protagonist Kumiko Oumae jumping under a blue sky with a bright smile.
