Toei Animation and Crunchyroll have confirmed that One Piece will return from its hiatus with a special Premiere Weekend Event on 5–6 April 2025. This will include a double episode drop and an extended recap special covering the first part of the still ongoing Egghead Arc.
Specifically, CrunchyRoll subscribers in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, South Africa, and Latin America will have the simulcast resume with One Piece Episode 1123 on 5 April, followed by Episode 1124 on 6 April. In addition to the new episodes, an 83-minute Egghead Arc Part-1 Recap Special will air on 5 April to bring fans up to speed on recent developments that may have been forgotten over the past few months.
One Piece’s Egghead Arc follows the crew as they encounter the Navy’s enigmatic genius scientist, Dr. Vegapunk, and uncover the secrets of his high-tech laboratory. The arc has marked a shift in the story’s tone, offering new mysteries and challenges for the crew to face.
