Programming Line-Up Confirmed for Aniplex Online Fest 2022

For the third year running, Aniplex will be hosting their online fan festival Aniplex Online Fest on 23 September 2022. While being hosted by the Tokyo division of Aniplex, English-language programming will also be hosted, with 20 anime series to be featured as part of the line-up, from mainstay series such as Bleach to some new-to-anime series like Nier: Automata.

As Aniplex Online Fest was born during COVID-19 times, the first two events will digital-only. Given developments in recent months, the event will be streams in front of a live audience at the PACIFICO Yokohama, where 4,000 fans will be chosen to attend the in-person event for free. For those who are watching from the comfort of their own home, the livestreamed festivities are also available free of charge.

With a few exceptions based on rights and licenses, Aniplex Online Fest 2022 will be hosted exclusively via Youtube from 8PM (PDT) on Friday 23 September 2022, and will consist of “special guests”, “exclusive programs” and “live performances from some of the biggest names in music”.
