Skeb Goes Artist Fee Free Until 14 April 2022

Perhaps your favourite artist has opened up for requests, with 100% of proceeds going to them

Dreamed of commissioning artwork from your favourite artist but they have had their commissions on Skeb closed? You may want to check back again, with the service removing all artist fees (provided the artist meets certain requirements) until 14 April 2022. This takes the request fee from between 6.8% – 9.8% down to a flat 0% during the campaign.

While this means no change for clients, for the artists and other creatives on the service, it meant that they would receive the full cut of money earned from requests they take via the service. Therefore, theoretically, they would be more interested in accepting proposals for a slightly lower fee or be keener on opening/accepting commissions in general.
