Tickets Go On-Sale For Sword Art Online -EX-CHRONICLE- Online Edition

Aniplex of America has today confirmed that tickets for the global version of Sword Art Online -EX-CHRONICLE- Online Edition, an all-online version of the Japanese online even held from November 20 to December 7, 2021, are now available. The English-Global version of the festival will be held from 21 February until 10 March, and be available in Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, the United Kingdom and United States. Sadly, Australia and New Zealand appear to have been left off the list.

Sword Art Online -EX-CHRONICLE- is an exhibition which takes the form of multiple “zones”. It can be toured both via select VR/Gaming Apps, or via your PC/Smart Phone Browser. The more expensive option is experiencing the exhibition via a VR platform, with tickets setting you back 3800 JPY, which is set to be an immersive experience. Experiencing it through your browser is slightly cheaper at 3,300 JPY. Purchasing a pass grants you access during the entire period, for as many times as you like.

  1. You can enjoy this exhibition through different platforms; this event is not limited to VR headsets and gaming PCs. Visitors without VR headsets can also enjoy EX-CHRONICLE’s WEB VR experience with a smartphone or PC.
  2. “Town of Beginnings” can be enjoyed for free.
  3. Experience the mega popular four-sided theater video as if you have dived into the world of SAO.
  4. Enjoy enormous amounts of anime materials on display, including special behind the scenes work.
  5. Pick up cool SAO weapons and fight the Boss Battle “The Skull Reaper” with your friends in real time.
