It has been thirty years since Square Enix (then known as Square) first released Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden (Known internationally as Final Fantasy Adventure) on the Nintendo Gameboy, which started the Mana RPG series. Although it has never reached the level of name recognition as some of the developer’s iconic franchises, such as Final Fantasy, ever has, the series has received a steady stream of releases. Marking the 30th Anniversary of the series, Square Enix held a celebratory live stream, and with it came several new project announcements.
