After first releasing the show as part of a Premium Edition collection on May 14th 2013, Nippon Ichi Software America have confirmed that their standard collection edition of The Princess and the Pilot is now available on store shelves.
This set includes the entire 99-minute series on one Blu-ray disc. Similar to YURUYURI Season 2 which they made available simultaneously with this release, there have been no announced plans to make The Princess and the Pilot available on DVD.
While purchasers won’t nab themselves the hardcover artbook or art box which came with the original Premium Edition set, the set still includes the small compilation of on-disc extras including Japanese commercials and theatrical previews.
Featuring animation by MADHOUSE, The Princess and the Pilot is adapted from the original light novel by Koroku Inumura. It features Ryunosuke Kamiki as Charles Karino, Daisuke Ono as Carlo Levamme and Daisuke Namikawa as Joaquin.
This Blu-ray set will set you back approximately $29.99.
