Granted it may not supplement the long awaited Alan Wake sequel for some fans, but during Gamescom 2015, Remedy Entertainment and Microsoft Studios announced that their third-person shooter action game Quantum Break will be released exclusively on the Xbox One starting April 5 2016.
To mark this release date announcement, both companies released a brand new trailer (available above) and gameplay preview (available below) for the game, delivering some new gameplay and narrative footage from the title. Having enjoyed the good amalgamation of storyline and gameplay in previous Remedy Entertainment works, I am genuinely looking forward to diving into this title upon release.
Developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios, Quantum Break will be released as an Xbox One exclusive starting April 5 2015. It is currently unknown if this will be an indefinite exclusivity, or if it will be coming to PC platforms at a later date as was the case with Alan Wake and its sequel Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.
