The RPG Maker series will continue to be developed following its 2011/2012 release of RPG Maker VX ACE, with Famitsu confirming that the next title will be named RPG Maker MV.
More information regarding this release will be made available in the August 20 edition of Weekly Famitsu. However a number of new features to be included in the software kit have been confirmed. These include multi-device support (Possibly where the “MV” comes from), side-view battle support out-of-the-box, touch/mouse control support and several developmental features including increased database limits.
With RPG Maker MV having just been announced, there is currently no word from international publisher Degica regarding their release plans.
