While you may have played some video games adapted from films before, in Spring 2016, gamers are set to try their hands at an odd combination: a video game based on a film which is based on that very same video game series. A few days ago, Sony Computer Entertainment and developer Insomniac announced Ratchet & Clank for the PlayStation 4. This marks the franchise’s debut on the PlayStation 4 system, and will be based upon Focus Features’ 2016 feature film under the same name.
Ratchet & Clank (PS4) is a new game based on elements from the original Ratchet & Clank (PS2). In 1080p, this instalment will feature more than an hour of new cinematics (including footage sourced from the film), alongside new locations, weapons, bosses and more.
