Perhaps you are sick of only having three and a bit days to explore the shopping mall – with most of that time taken up trying to rescue innocent patrons of the shopping center you are bunkering in or perhaps you have done that many a time and want to do something more. The first Dead Rising game came with what you could consider a semi-sandbox system titled Infinity Mode. This was not a true Sandbox as rather then being given unlimited time – the gameplay was about avoiding death through zombie or starvation, as your health dropped considerably if you were not consuming food.
With Frank West back in action, they could not let his make-believe reality go without a true sandbox mode. This time, this mode seems to be all about undertaking missions throughout the shopping mall – from defeating X numbers of zombies in Y minutes/seconds to defeat Z. How long this will last will depend on what they have on offer in terms of challenges and bonus content, but if you were on the fence about this game, this might be something to consider about.
This game is being released by Capcom and is due out in Mid-October.
