Highlighting a new direction they have explored for the Battlefield franchise, Electronic Arts and the development team at their Visceral Games studio have shared the launch trailer for Battlefield Hardline. For release in approximately one week from now, this first-person shooter will be available on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC platforms.
Moving away from the warfare / battle zone of previous instalments in the series, Battlefield Hardline shifts attention to the “war on crime” – highlighting a constant battle between police and criminals in a city environment. Players take on the role of both police and criminals, as they attempt to undertake/foil a particular crime. These crimes range from a typical vault heist to a full-on hostage situation.
This trailer features the song I’m So Sorry by Imagine Demons, which can be purchased through iTunes.
