Starting today, 100,000 players will be invited to take part in the tests of Steam, which shall be held on the following dates:

  • Friday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. PST / 5 p.m. GMT thru Monday, Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. PST / 5 p.m. GMT

Described as being “Free-to-Play” and “Free-to-Win”, Dirty Bomb is a competitive team-based game where players will select from a diverse group of mercenaries, each with their own very different personalities, talents and weapons, to create specialized squads to take into the fray on a quest for riches and bragging rights.

Dirty Bomb will be made available exclusively through Steam. Running on its dedicated servers, the game will deliver matchmaking, chat and parties and additional Valve solutions through the Steamworks program at a later date.

Storyline Synopsis for Dirty Bomb

It’s 2020 and the once great city of London stands abandoned after a mysterious disaster, a dilapidated shell of its former self. After the initial evacuation, the International Crisis and Disaster Agency stepped in to clean up the mess and decontaminate the city. They failed… badly. Now the streets of London are the playground of Private Military Companies (PMCs) who battle to control the city’s abandoned riches. After all, what’s a little radiation sickness when there’s money to be made? Say goodbye to London, say hello to the Merc Capital of the World. Say hello to Dirty Bomb.
